A cleaning crew works to restore the Whaley Historic House Museum on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, near downtown Flint, the day after a fire broke out in the third floor and on the roof, leaving heavy damage throughout the building. Museum president Thomas Henthorn says most of the museum's collections were on the other opposite side of the fire. But he noted that any damage to the house is significant because the house is an artifact.
