Looking for a home in bucolic Howard County? Patriot Homes is building 36 single-family homes at the Overlook at Timbers in Elkridge, on lots of one-third acre with plenty of open space.

Each home will feature aluminum siding, Fiberglas roof shingles, a pitched roof and a two-car garage. Brick fronts and stone accents are optional.

All 17 models will include four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, hardwood flooring in the foyer, a fireplace, cathedral ceilings and a luxury bath with a soaking tub and separate shower in the master suite, four-paneled interior doors, a three-piece plumbing rough-in for the basement, and gas heat and hot water.

The models range in size from 1,890 to 3,254 finished square feet, with base prices from $248,900 to $300,900.

The James Monroe model, with 3,254 finished square feet, is priced from $299,900. This home features a two-story foyer, a formal living room with knee walls and columns, a formal dining room with a butler's pantry and wet bar, a center-island kitchen open to the breakfast room, a step-down family room with columns, and an optional fireplace and a first-floor study with a closet and optional doors to the family room. This study can be converted to an in-law suite.

Upstairs, the master bedroom features double doors, a tray ceiling, a sitting area, a walk-in closet, a second closet and double doors leading to the master bath, which has two separate vanities, a corner soaking tub and a separate shower with a seat. Three additional bedrooms share a full bath, and a laundry room completes this level.

Options available include fireplaces, room extensions, finished basements, sun rooms, bay windows and other upgrades.
