Cassidy Development Corp. is building about 30 single-family homes at the golf-course community of Lake Manassas in Gainesville, each designed around a private central courtyard with a swimming pool.

Each home in this Prince William County community will include a choice of exterior style, including brick, stone, stucco or maintenance-free cement-board siding, and a two-car garage.

Both models feature a central swimming pool with a terrace and covered patio. Inside, the houses have 10-foot ceilings on the first level, 9-foot ceilings on the second level, four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a gas fireplace in the great room, French doors to the library, hardwood and ceramic-tile flooring, commercial-grade stainless-steel Jenn-Air kitchen appliances, an oversize kitchen island, two-zone heating and air conditioning, and gas heat and hot water.

The elegant master bath has a soaking tub and an oversize shower with two shower heads, four body jets and a corner seat.

Based on a lot priced at $100,000, the Kingston model, with 3,080 square feet, is priced from $500,000, while the Hamilton model, with 3,720 square feet, is priced from $560,000. Some homes will cost more than $1 million for the lot and house.

The Kingston model features a two-story foyer with columns flanked by the library and dining room and providing courtyard and pool views. The first-floor master suite, kitchen and great room offer pool views, and upstairs, the second bedroom and optional entertainment room overlook the pool terrace. The fourth bedroom has a private bath, while the second and third have a connecting bath.

Options available include an outdoor fireplace, a sun room, a three-car garage, room extensions, and finished lower-level spaces including a home office, a bonus room, an exercise room and a guest suite.
