Caruso Homes is building 84 single-family houses at Belmont Greene, Loudoun County's first neo-traditional planned community featuring decorative front porches, narrow tree-lined streets and houses with rear-entry garages. Two community pools, tennis courts, walking and biking trails, a community center and playing fields encourage interaction with neighbors.
Each home in this Ashburn community will be built on a lot of one-fifth to one-quarter acre, and will include a brick foundation, low-maintenance beaded siding, fencing and a rear-entry two-car garage.
Each of the three models features four bedrooms; 2 1/2 baths; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; hardwood flooring in the foyer; a fireplace; and a center-island kitchen with 42-inch cabinets, crown molding and a pantry. Ceramic tile is featured in the bathrooms, and the luxury master bath has a soaking tub and separate shower. The houses have gas heat and two-zone heating and air conditioning.
The homes range in size from 2,274 to 2,522 finished square feet, with base prices from $279,990 to $309,990.
The Williamsburg model, with 2,522 finished square feet, is priced from $309,990. This home features a front porch with columns, a two-story foyer, a living room with half-walls and columns, a library with French doors to the living room, a dining room, and a center-island kitchen open to a family room with a fireplace. Upstairs, the master suite includes two walk-in closets and a luxury bath with two vanities, a corner soaking tub and a separate shower. An optional "adult retreat" accessible from the master bedroom can be built over the garage. A laundry room, a full bath, a linen closet and three more bedrooms complete this level.
Options available include sun rooms; in-law suites; a finished lower level with a recreation room, a bathroom and a den; bay windows; room extensions; a bonus room over the garage; and cathedral or tray ceilings.
