NVHomes is building 14 estate homes on homesites of from 5 to 32 acres at Essex, a new community tucked into a secluded corner of upper Montgomery County near Laytonsville. Some 118 acres of common area will be preserved in the development.

Each home will include a brick front and stoop, upgraded siding, professional landscaping, and a side-entry three-car garage. Stone fronts are optional.

Nearby are a laundry room and a walk-in pantry and closet.

Upstairs, the master suite has a tray ceiling, a sitting area, two walk-in closets, a dressing area and a luxury bath with a corner soaking tub and a tray ceiling.

The second bedroom has a private bath, while the third and fourth bedrooms share a connecting bath.
