From the Beltway, take Central Avenue east. Follow to Route 193 and turn right on Watkins Park Drive. After half a mile, follow the signs for Watkins Regional Park on the right. At the second stop sign, turn right to go into Old Maryland Farm.


Parking is sufficient and free.


There is no charge to visit the farm or the park. Hayrides are $1 per person, and pony rides are $2 per ride. All other events at the farm are free.


Old Maryland Farm is open year-round. The farm is open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During the week, the farm is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Hayrides and pony rides are offered from April through August: hayrides from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays and from 1 to 3 p.m. Sundays; pony rides from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdays from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Saturdays
