Mid-Atlantic Builders is building 150 single-family homes at Lakeview in Mitchellville, not far from Enterprise Golf Course, Glendale Country Club and the Six Flags theme park. The homes will be placed surrounding a lake, and the community will include 22 acres of parkland. For a limited time, the builder is offering $5,000 toward the buyer's choice of options and $8,000 toward closing costs.

Each home in this Prince George's County community will be built on a quarter-acre site and include a brick front, professional landscaping and a two-car garage. Expanded and three-car garages are optional.

Inside, all six models feature four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a two-story family room with a gas fireplace, hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room, crown and chair-rail moldings, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, gas heat and a center-island kitchen.

The homes range in size from 2,900 to 3,600 finished square feet, with base prices from $311,990 to $332,990.

The Somerset model, with 3,400 square feet, is priced from $324,990. This home features a central staircase with an open foyer, a formal living room with columns, a formal dining room, a center-island kitchen with a large breakfast area with windows on three sides, a two-story family room with multiple windows, a large corner study with windows on three sides, and a first-floor laundry room.

Upstairs, the master suite has an optional sitting room with windows on two sides, a large bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, a double-size walk-in closet, and a luxury bath with a vaulted ceiling, two separate vanities, an oval soaking tub and a separate shower. Three additional bedrooms share a hall bath, and the second bedroom features multiple windows and a walk-in closet.

Options include rear and side sunrooms, a shower spa-bath upgrade, bay windows, porches and a finished lower level.
