The Capital Children's Museum is located at 800 Third St. NE, Washington, D.C., 1 1/2 blocks from Union Station.


Admission for adults and children is $6; children 2 and under are admitted free. Admission is $3 on Sundays before noon. Limited parking is available on museum grounds, metered parking surrounds the site and a public lot is one block away.


The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Easter through Labor Day. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day and the entire week following Labor Day.
