The Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum is located at 105-107 S. Fairfax St. in Old Town Alexandria, a half-block south of Market Square. To reach the museum from the District, take the George Washington Memorial Parkway south into Old Town. Make a left onto Queen Street and a right onto Fairfax. Cross King Street and immediately look for street parking. Note that the museum building also houses an extensive gift shop containing new and consigned items.

On-street parking, metered and non-metered, is available. Various parking garages are in the vicinity.


Admission is $2.50 for adults and $2 for students ages 11 to 17.


The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
