Take Interstate 95 north to Philadelphia. Take Exit 17 toward the Historic Area, and at the bottom of the ramp go straight on Second Street to Chestnut Street. Parking is available along Second Street.


The National Liberty Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Mondays.


Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for students. Special group tours and evening hours are available upon request.

For families planning a day trip to Philadelphia, the National Liberty Museum is only a block or two away from other historic sites. The New Hall Military Museum is directly across the street, the Liberty Bell Pavilion and Independence Hall are two blocks away, and Liberty Hall is one block away.
