The planned community of Clarksburg in Montgomery County will include a retail center, a community swimming pool, tennis courts, tot lots and seven parks. Craftstar Homes is building 50 town homes with three finished levels at Clarksburg and will offer $4,000 toward closing costs for buyers using the firm's lender.

Each group of town homes will feature a mixture of brick, stone and vinyl siding facade with stone accents on the ground level, professional landscaping, Colonial-style panel shutters, and a two-car, rear-entry garage.

Inside, both models will have three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 9-foot ceilings on the first floor, ceramic tile foyer flooring, three-piece crown moldings, raised-panel interior doors, upgraded wiring, ceramic tile tub surrounds, gas heat and 42-inch cabinets and white-on-white appliances in the kitchen.

The models range in size from 2,100 to 2,300 finished square feet, with base prices from $229,540 to $245,540.

The Annapolis 1 model, with 2,100 square feet, is priced from $229,540. This home features a lower-level entrance leading to a recreation room and a broad staircase to the main level. The main level has an open living room and dining room with a knee wall used to define the family room, which is open to the kitchen and breakfast area.

A deck can be added off the breakfast area, and a two-sided fireplace can be placed between the living room and dining room.

Upstairs, the bedrooms include vaulted ceilings, and a laundry room is off the hall. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and a private bath with a double vanity and an optional oversized shower in place of the standard combination tub/shower. Alternate floor plans include dual master suites or a media area in place of the third bedroom.

Options include a finished loft level with a master suite, a bedroom and bath, or a study, fireplaces, a deck, hardwood flooring, Corian counters and other upgrades.
