Craftmark Homes is building seven Colonial-style single-family homes on lots of half an acre to an acre at the Pointe at South River Colony, where residents can enjoy golf, swimming, tennis, walking trails and a location near beaches and Annapolis.

Each home in this Anne Arundel County community will feature a brick front, a sodded yard, a wooded view, a steeply pitched roof, professional landscaping, six-inch beaded vinyl siding and a two-car side-entry garage. Stone fronts and three-car garages are optional.

Inside, all five models feature four to five bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, 9-foot to 11-foot ceilings, hardwood flooring in the foyer, kitchen and breakfast area, crown and chair-rail moldings, a ceiling medallion and a first-floor study. The homes also have ceramic tile flooring and tub-and-shower surrounds in the baths, and a master bath with a tub, separate shower and double-bowl vanity. Other features include a fireplace, Corian counters, upgraded appliances and 42-inch cabinets in the center-island kitchen, a full bath rough-in in the basement, gas hot water, and two-zone gas heat and central air conditioning.

The homes have from about 2,963 to 5,675 finished square feet, with base prices from $545,900 to $709,900.

The Oakton model, with 4,200 square feet, is priced from $595,900 to $628,900. This home features a two-story foyer with an angled staircase, a study, a living room and dining room defined by columns, a large kitchen and breakfast area, and a two-story family room with a rear staircase, a fireplace and a wall of windows. A powder room and laundry room complete this level.

Upstairs, the master suite has a vaulted ceiling, a step-down sitting room, two walk-in closets and a bath. Buyers can choose between four more bedrooms or five more bedrooms and two full private or connecting baths.

Options include finished lower levels, conservatories, morning rooms, finished attics, room extensions and other upgrades.
