Van Metre Homes is building 104 garage town homes at the planned community of Broadlands in Ashburn, where residents can enjoy a full array of recreational amenities that include a nature center, tennis courts, swimming pools and hiking trails.

Each home in this Loudoun County community will include a brick front, vinyl siding, a fenced yard with a gate and a one-car or two-car garage.

Inside, both models feature three finished levels with three or four bedrooms, 3½ baths, hardwood or ceramic tile flooring in the foyer, crown and chair-rail moldings, 9-foot ceilings on the main and lower level, vaulted ceilings on the upper level, a gas fireplace, 42-inch cabinets and Corian counters in the center-island kitchen, a master bath with a tub and separate shower, ceramic tile flooring and tub and shower surrounds, an upper-level laundry room, a high-tech communications system, and gas heat and hot water.

The houses have 2,167 to 3,024 finished square feet, with base prices from $269,900 to $325,800.

The Decatur model, with 3,024 square feet, is priced from $325,800, including a three-level addition. This home features a two-car garage, a recreation room with a fireplace, a full bath, a den and an optional fourth bedroom on the lower level.

On the main level are a sunken living room, decorative columns, an open dining room, a powder room, a sunroom and an open kitchen and family room.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet, a separate sitting room, and a bath with a tub, separate shower and a double-sink vanity. Two more bedrooms, a bath and a laundry room complete this level.
