Winchester Homes is building 66 Colonial-style single-family homes on half-acre homesites at Briarcliff Manor North in Burtonsville, where the community has been designed around cul-de-sacs.

Each home in this Montgomery County community will include a brick front, a brick stoop, professional landscaping that includes sodded front and rear yards, and a two-car garage.

Inside, all six models feature four or five bedrooms, two or 3½ baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room, 9-foot ceilings, a gas fireplace, crown moldings and trim, 42-inch cabinets in the center-island kitchen, ceramic tile floors in a master bath that has a tub and separate shower, a home security system, a rough-in for a full basement bath, and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 2,722 to 3,339 finished square feet, with base prices from $459,000 to $504,000.

The Chelsea II model, with 3,191 square feet, is priced from $492,000. This home features a two-story foyer flanked by the living room and dining room, a corner library with a glass door, a powder room, and a two-story family room with a fireplace and windows on three sides.

The nearby center-island kitchen and breakfast room include a pantry, a rear staircase, a desk and access to the garage and laundry room. A sunroom can be added off the breakfast area and family room.

Upstairs, the master suite has a cathedral ceiling, a sitting room with decorative columns, two walk-in closets, and a bath with a tub, separate shower and two separate vanities. Three more bedrooms, one with a private bath and two sharing a hall bath, complete this level.

Options include finished lower levels, decks, room extensions, cathedral ceilings, bay windows and other customization during the design process.
