A story in yesterday's editions incorrectly reported the station where the Metrorail train that dragged a woman down the platform at Gallery Place on Jan. 9 finally stopped. It stopped at Archives-Navy Memorial Station.

A story in yesterday's editions incorrectly characterized the views of the D.C. office of the Inspector General about Mayor Anthony A. Williams' plan to regulate the city's towing industry. The office is still evaluating the regulations and has not yet taken an official position on them.

A story in Thursday's editions incorrectly reported the source of a report on security on the U.S. northern border. The report came from the Justice Department's Office of the Inspector General.
