Van Metre Homes is building 28 single-family houses on sites of 4,100 to 7,000 square feet at Tysons Trace in Vienna, close to the Beltway, Interstate 66, the Dulles Toll Road and literally hundreds of shops and restaurants.

Each home in this Fairfax County community will include a brick front, Andersen windows, maintenance-free 6-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping, iron railings and lights, and a two-car garage.

Inside, all three models feature three finished levels with four bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, 9-foot and 10-foot ceilings on all levels, hardwood flooring on most of the main level, decorative columns, recessed lighting throughout, crown and chair-rail moldings, oversized trim, a gas fireplace with a marble hearth, 42-inch cabinets and Corian counters in the white-on-white kitchen, a soaking tub and separate shower in the master bath, two-zone gas heat and gas hot water.

The homes range in size from 3,568 to 5,009 finished square feet, with base prices from $639,900 to $729,900.

The Parkdale model, with 4,020 square feet, is priced from $669,000. This home features a two-story foyer, a formal living room and formal dining room with decorative columns, a study, a center-island kitchen and breakfast nook, and archways connecting the family room with the kitchen. Upstairs, the master suite includes a sitting area, a coffered ceiling, two walk-in closets, and a bath with a corner soaking tub and oversized shower with a seat. A laundry room and three additional bedrooms, each with a private or shared bath, complete this level. The lower level has a recreation room, a full bath and optional rooms including a den and a game room.

Options available include elevators, bay windows, decks, rear staircases, built-in shelving, a loft and wet bar.
