Miller and Smith is building 14 single-family homes from the firm's "Arts and Crafts" collection of floor plans at the planned community of Clarksburg Town Center in Clarksburg. Residents will have such amenities as a swimming pool, clubhouse and walking trails.

Each home in this Montgomery County community will be built on a 3,200-square-foot lot and feature low-maintenance vinyl siding with craftsman-style architectural detailing, a front porch, a post lamp, professional landscaping including sodded front and back lawns and an enclosed garden courtyard, and an attached two-car garage accessed from a lane behind the house.

Inside, all three models feature three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, oak stair railings with white pickets, hardwood flooring in the foyer, crown moldings, a fireplace in the family room, a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower, and gas cooking, heat and hot water. The kitchens feature 42-inch cabinets, recessed lighting and pantries.

The homes have 2,350 finished square feet, with base prices from $311,990 to $324,790.

The Redwood model, priced from $311,990, has a columned front porch leading into a foyer, as well as formal living and dining rooms. This home features a family room with a fireplace off the center-island kitchen, a breakfast nook and a courtyard visible from all three of these rooms. Upstairs, the master suite has a large walk-in closet and a luxury bath, and two additional bedrooms share a hall bath. A bonus room with separate access from the rear stairs has options including a bathroom, closet and skylights.

Options include a finished lower level with a media room, recreation room, and den and additional fireplaces.
