ANNAPOLIS (AP) Jehiel Lewis scored 21 points, including four in the second overtime, and Navy beat Lehigh 92-85 last night.

It was Navy's 14th straight regular-season victory over Lehigh, though the Midshipmen were upset by the Mountain Hawks in the Patriot League tournament in 1999.

Jason Jeanpierre scored 19 points for Navy, 17 in regulation, while Francis Ebong, who was in foul trouble much of the night, made three free throws in the second overtime and finished with 11 points. Quintrell McCreary had career-highs of eight points and 12 rebounds.

Navy (7-11, 2-1) led by eight points with just over 11 minutes left in regulation.

but found itself down 70-65 with 4:45 remaining. Lewis' driving basket put the Middies in front 73-72 with 1:47 left, but a tip-in by Ra Tiah gave Lehigh (4-12, 1-2) the lead with 45 seconds remaining.

A free throw by Lewis tied it with 33 seconds remaining. Lehigh set up for a final shot, which Tiah missed with two seconds left.

Navy led by as many as four points in the first overtime, and was up 83-80 after Demond Shepard's drive with 15 seconds left. Again Lehigh set up Tiah for a last shot, and he hit a 3-pointer at 2.4 seconds to tie it again.

Lehigh had no heroics left for the second overtime. The Hawks went 0-for-7 from the field in the second overtime, and just 2-for-4 from the line. Navy managed only one field goal in the period, a jumper in the lane by Lewis that gave the Middies an 87-84 lead, but went 7-for-8 from the line.

Matt Logie and Scott Taylor each had 19 points for Lehigh, while Tiah scored 17.
