The Washington Redskins released the schedule for coach Steve Spurrier's first training camp yesterday, tentatively slating 24 practices beginning July23 and ending Aug.15.

Players will report to Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., on Monday, July22. Practices are scheduled once or twice a day until the club departs July31 for Osaka, Japan, to play in the American Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers. The remainder of camp is broken up by the Aug.10 preseason game at Carolina.

Fan appreciation is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July27. The band and cheerleaders are expected to perform in the early afternoon, between the day's two practices; the second practice should begin at 2p.m., followed by an autograph session.

All practices are open to the public with no charge for admission. Times, however, are subject to change.
