Location: The Lee-Fendall House Museum is at 614 Oronoco St. in the historic district of Old Town Alexandria.

Directions: From the District, take the George Washington Parkway south onto Washington Street. Make a left onto Oronoco. The Lee-Fendall house is on the corner of Oronoco and Washington streets.

Hours: The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. All tours are guided and usually begin on the hour. The last tour of the day begins at 3 p.m. If you are planning a weekend visit, call ahead to confirm the tour schedule, as the museum sometimes is closed for private events.

Admission and parking: $4 for adults, $2 for students ages 11-17 and free for children under 11. The museum offers several free on-site parking spaces; street and garage parking are available, as well.
