WHERE: Marshall Drive between Route 50 and Arlington Cemetery, Arlington

WHEN: Open 24 hours, daily

EVENTS: The Marine Sunset Review Parade, featuring the Drum and Bugle Corps and precision drill by the Marine Corps Silent Drill. 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, May-August. Admission free. No public parking; visitors park at Arlington Cemetery and take shuttle to memorial.

METRO: Six blocks from Rosslyn station


WHAT: Arlington National Cemetery

WHERE: Memorial Drive between the Pentagon and the U.S. Marine Corps Memorial, Arlington.

WHEN: 8 a.m.-7 p.m. April 1-Sept. 30, 8 a.m.-5 p.m Oct. 1-March 31

PRICE: Free. Parking $1.25 to $2 per hour. (Visitors are not allowed to drive through the cemetery.)
