Washington Homes is building 35 traditional single-family homes at Ashland, a planned community in Manassas. Residents at Ashland are near the Prince William Park and Potomac Mills shopping mall and can enjoy swimming, tennis and basketball within the community.

Each home in this Prince William County community will be built on a quarter- to a third-acre home site, with vinyl siding, a post lamp, professional landscaping, a fully sodded yard and a two-car garage. Brick fronts are optional.

Inside, all six models feature four or five bedrooms, 2½ baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room, a fireplace in the family room, crown and chair-rail moldings, high ceilings on the main level, 42-inch raised oak panel cabinets in the center-island kitchen, ceramic tile tub/shower surrounds, a master bath with a separate shower and soaking tub, and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have about 2,450 to 3,430 finished square feet, with base prices from $365,990 to $406,990.

The Virginia II model, with 2,770 square feet, is priced from $382,990. This home features a two-story foyer, a library, a formal living room and formal dining room defined by columns, a center-island kitchen and breakfast room opening onto the family room, and a first-floor laundry room.

Upstairs, the master bedroom features a separate sitting room with columns and an optional fireplace, two walk-in closets and a luxury bath with two separate vanities and a soaking tub under a window. Three additional bedrooms share a hall bath. An alternate floor plan has a fifth bedroom in place of the master sitting room.

Options include a finished lower level with a recreation room, den and bathroom, morning room and sunroom additions, room extensions, bay windows and Corian counters.
