Mid-Atlantic Builders will be building 15 single-family homes on lots of a quarter-acre or larger at Fairwood, a planned community in Bowie that will have a community center, a swimming pool, shops and office space.

Each home in this Prince George's County community will include a brick front, a brick stoop, a sodded yard, 6½-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, all six models feature four bedrooms, 2 or 3½ baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room, oak stairs, crown and chair-rail moldings, 9-foot ceilings on the main and lower level, a gas fireplace, 42-inch cabinets, Corian counters and ceramic tile flooring in the center-island kitchen, a volume ceiling in the master bedroom, a master bath with a tub and separate shower, ceramic tile tub and shower surrounds and two-zone gas heat.

The homes have 3,200 to 3,781 finished square feet, with base prices from $434,990 to $503,990.

The Somerset model, with 3,600 square feet, is priced from $458,990. This home features a large foyer, a living room with decorative columns, a formal dining room with decorative columns and an arched entrance, a central staircase, a corner study with three walls of windows, a two-story family room with a fireplace and a wall of windows, and a kitchen open to a breakfast area with three walls of windows.

Upstairs, the master suite has a tray ceiling, a separate sitting room with a corner full of windows, a double-size walk-in closet and a bath with a vaulted ceiling, a tub, separate shower and two separate sinks. Three more bedrooms and one full bath complete this level.

Options include a finished lower level, room extensions, bay windows and other upgrades.
