Patriot Homes is building approximately 70 single-family homes in the first phase of the planned community of Fairwood in Prince George's County, where residents will enjoy extensive walking paths, tot lots, ball fields, a meeting room, tennis courts and swimming pools.

Each home will include a brick front, vinyl siding, a steeply pitched roof and a two-car garage.

Inside, the nine models feature 2½ baths, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, hardwood flooring and oak railings in the foyer, 42-inch cabinets in the kitchen, cathedral ceilings in most master suites, a master bath with a tub and separate shower, ceramic-tile tub and shower surrounds, rough-in plumbing for a lower-level bath, gas heat and hot water, and two-zone heating and cooling.

The houses have approximately 2,397 to 3,200 finished square feet, with base prices from $359,900 to $399,900.

The John Rutledge model, with 2,705 square feet, is priced from $395,900. This home features an optional front porch and a two-story foyer flanked by a formal living room and a formal dining room, each with decorative columns and an optional tray ceiling. Across the back of the house are a library, a powder room and an octagonal family room with walls of windows across the back. A center-island kitchen with an adjacent breakfast area also is in the back.

Upstairs, the master suite has a vaulted ceiling, two walk-in closets and a bath with a soaking tub, separate shower and two sinks. Three more bedrooms, a laundry room and a second full bath complete this level.

Options include kitchen upgrades, a sunroom, room extensions, a finished recreation room and a whirlpool tub.
