Patriot Homes is building Colonial-style single-family homes with four bedrooms, 2 baths and a two-car garage at Independence in Manassas.

All of the homes in this Prince William County development feature a poured concrete foundation, a steeply pitched roof and a two-car garage. Brick or partial stone facades are optional.

Inside, all six models feature four bedrooms, 2½ baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, 42-inch cabinets in the fully equipped kitchen, cathedral ceilings in most master bedrooms, a master bath with a tub and separate shower in most models, ceramic tile tub and shower surrounds, and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have from about 2,080 to 2,631 finished square feet, with base prices from $279,900 to $307,900.

The Phillis Wheatley model, with 2,140 square feet, is priced from $293,900. This home features a dramatic two-story foyer with a formal living room defined by columns on one side. An angled staircase is at the rear of the foyer, and across the back of the home are a formal dining room and a center-island kitchen and breakfast area that open onto the family room. An alternate floor plan places the family room in the center with walls of angled windows and the kitchen in the corner.

Upstairs, the master suite has a vaulted ceiling, three closets, including one walk-in, and a bath with a double vanity, a tub and a separate shower. A laundry room, three more bedrooms, and a full bath with a double vanity complete this level.

Options include a gas fireplace, sunroom additions, room extensions, bay windows, Corian counters and other upgrades.
