Location: Great Country Farms is located in Bluemont, Va., in Loudoun County, at 18780 Foggy Bottom Road

Hours and admission: The farm is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily April 5 through Oct. 31. Entrance fees are $2.50 per person or $10 per car April 5 through Sept. 15. From Sept. 16 through Oct. 31, the fee is $2.50 per person or $10 per car on weekdays; $5 per person or $20 per car on weekends.

Directions: From Washington, take Route 66 west to the Dulles Toll Road. Continue on the toll road past Washington Dulles International Airport onto the new Greenway Toll Road to Leesburg. At the end of the Greenway, take the exit for Route 7 west toward Winchester. Go 14 miles. Turn left onto Route 760 (Clayton Hall Road) into the town of Bluemont. Take the first left onto Snickersville Turnpike. Take the first right onto Foggy Bottom Road and go a half-mile to the farm on the left-hand side.
