U.S. Home Corp. is building 160 town homes at Cherry Tree Park in Laurel, where residents can enjoy walking trails, a plaza area, gazebos and a picnic area, plus a location near the amenities of the planned community of Columbia.

Each home in this Howard County community will include a brick front, vinyl siding, a sodded lawn, decks and patios, and a one-car or two-car garage.

Inside, both models feature three finished levels with three bedrooms; 2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; crown and chair-rail moldings; recessed lighting; 42-inch cabinets in the kitchen; ceramic tile flooring in all baths; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; vaulted ceilings in all bedrooms; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have about 2,100 to 2,370 finished square feet, with base prices from $344,990 to $361,990.

The Fulton model, an interior unit with 2,370 square feet, is priced from $344,990. This home features a one-car garage, laundry room and a foyer on the lower level, along with an oversized, L-shaped recreation room with multiple windows and a sliding glass door to a patio.

The main level features an L-shaped living room and dining room, a powder room, and center-island kitchen open to a breakfast area and family room with sliding glass doors to the deck.

Upstairs, the master suite has a vaulted ceiling, a glass door to a private deck, one walk-in closet and a second standard closet that can be converted to a wet bar. The bath has a corner tub, a separate shower and a dual-sink vanity. Two more bedrooms and another full bath complete this level.

Options include gas fireplaces, hardwood flooring, ceramic tile flooring and Corian or granite counters.
