Carrhomes is building 49 town houses at Wyngate in Alexandria, where residents can enjoy access to the adjacent Vernon Manor Park. The homes will be placed so they face a wooded common area.

Each 22-foot-wide home in this Fairfax County community will include a brick foundation, a sodded lawn, a concrete driveway and a two-car garage. Brick fronts are optional.

Inside, both models feature three finished levels with three bedrooms; 2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer; 9-foot ceilings on the main and upper level; 42-inch cabinets with crown moldings in the fully equipped kitchen; a coffered ceiling and walk-in closet in the master suite; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; an upper-level laundry room; and a finished recreation room on the lower level.

Both homes have about 2,200 finished square feet, each with a base price of $329,990.

The Edgewood model features exterior steps up to the main-level entrance, with a step-up from the foyer into the open living and dining room. A bulkhead and decorative columns define these two rooms. At the rear of the home are a family room that opens onto the breakfast area and a kitchen that has a pantry and an optional pass-through.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a bath with a corner tub, a separate shower and a dual-sink vanity. Two more bedrooms, a large laundry room and another full bath complete this level.

The lower level includes a finished recreation room, a utility and storage room, and access to the two-car garage.

The Monticello model is identical to the Edgewood on the upper and lower levels but features a central kitchen with a smaller living and dining room and a larger family room on the main level.

Options include gas fireplaces, kitchen and dining room pass-throughs, French doors, built-ins, room extensions and dormers.
