Winchester Homes is building 46 single-family homes on homesites of 1.5 to 2.5 acres at Hawkins Landing in Laytonsville, where residents can enjoy a country setting in Montgomery County.

Each home will include a brick or stone front, a brick or slate entry stoop, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, all seven models feature four or five bedrooms; 2 or 3 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer, kitchen, breakfast area and powder room; an oak staircase; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch cabinets, double ovens and Corian counters in the center-island kitchen; a master bath with ceramic-tile flooring, a tub and separate shower; a high-tech wiring package; a security system; two-zone gas heat; and gas hot water.

The homes have 2,879 to 4,502 finished square feet, with base prices from $659,000 to $785,000.

The Belmont model, with 3,632 square feet, is priced from $673,000. This home features a two-story foyer with a curving staircase, a living room and dining room with decorative columns, a study, and a kitchen and breakfast area open to a two-level family room with a fireplace and rear staircase. This level also has a powder room, laundry room, walk-in pantry and walk-in closet.

Upstairs, the master suite has a tray ceiling; a separate sitting area; a walk-in closet; and a luxury bath with an oversized soaking tub, a separate shower and two separate sinks. Three more bedrooms, each with a connecting or private bath, complete this level.
