New year, new vistas — but how to find them in Washington? Internet search engines cough up the names of more than 2,000 restaurants and bars in the metropolitan area with “rooftop” facilities, from the spectacular to the merely elevated — from the one-of-a-kind dazzlement of, say, Top of the Town in Arlington to a rooftop bar a few stories up with a view of jockeying motorists.
