Beazer Homes is building 18 single-family houses on quarter-acre lots at Bonifant Park in Silver Spring, where residents will live near several private golf courses, Wheaton Regional Park, the Wheaton Community Recreation Center and the Wheaton Regional Library.

Each home in this Montgomery County community will include a brick front, a brick stoop, six-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, all five models feature four bedrooms, 2½, 3 or 3½ baths, hardwood flooring in the two-story foyer and powder room, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, crown and chair-rail moldings, a gas fireplace, 42-inch cabinets in the center-island kitchen, and a master bath with a tub and separate shower.

The homes have about 2,864 to 3,409 finished square feet, with base prices from the upper $500,000s.

The Alexandra model, with 3,409 square feet, features an open floor plan with a two-story foyer that includes decorative columns to define space. The formal living room and formal dining room flank the foyer and create one large open space for entertaining. The staircase is pushed back to the center of the floor plan, with a nearby powder room and double doors leading into the corner library. The center-island kitchen opens onto the breakfast area and includes a walk-pantry. A step-down from the open breakfast area leads into the family room, which has a wall of windows and a fireplace.

Upstairs, the master suite has a separate sitting room, a walk-in closet and a bath with a corner tub, a separate shower and two separate vanities. Three more bedrooms, each with a connecting or private full bath, and a laundry room complete this level.

Options include sunrooms, extra fireplaces, bay windows, finished lower levels, rear extensions, security systems, intercoms and hardwood flooring.
