Location: The Surratt House Museum is located at 9118 Brandywine Road in Clinton.

Directions: From Interstate 95, take Exit 7A (Branch Avenue/Maryland Route 5) south. Go four miles and exit at Route 223/Woodyard Road. Bear right and go one mile, then turn left onto Brandywine Road.

Hours: The museum is open for public tours 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Group tours are given by appointment. (Tour guides will play down the Lincoln assassination conspiracy for young children.)

Admission and parking: Museum admission is $3 for adults, $2 for senior citizens and groups of 10 or more adults, and $1 for children 5 to 18. Visit the museum's Web site for free-admission coupons. Plenty of free parking is available at the visitors center.
