Seen and heard last night at MCI Center:
DIXON BACK IN THE FOLD: On Thursday, Wizards rookie guard Juan Dixon thought he would remain on the injured list with a sprained left elbow until at least Monday. But the Wizards ended Dixon's longer-than-expected absence when they activated him before the game.
Dixon went on the injured list Dec.2, 2002, just days after he scored a career-high 18 points against Philadelphia, and he was starting to get antsy.
"Yeah, it was a long time. At least it seemed that way," said Dixon, who missed 19 games. "You start wondering when you're going to be able to get back out there. But all you can do is be patient and wait until you're ready. Now I'm ready."
To make room for Dixon, Washington placed Brian Cardinal on the injured list with tendinitis.
ALL-STAR VOTING: All-Star Game voting ends tomorrow, and Michael Jordan is the only Wizard seemingly with a chance at making the squad. Jordan is third among Eastern Conference guards with 795,481 votes. Jordan trails Tracy McGrady (1,016,123) and Allen Iverson (902,754). Swingman Jerry Stackhouse has 126,413.
