Washington Homes is building 127 town homes at Governor's Grant at Columbia Town Center, where residents can enjoy the planned community of Columbia's recreational facilities, shops and restaurants, many of which are within walking distance.

Each home in this Howard County community will include a brick front, a partial-brick back, low-maintenance vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a rear-alley-access two-car garage.

Inside, all three models feature three bedrooms; 2½ baths; ceramic flooring in the foyer, kitchen and breakfast room; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; 42-inch cabinets and Corian counters in the center-island kitchen; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; ceramic tile flooring and tub-and-shower surrounds; a high-tech wiring package; a finished recreation room; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have from about 2,083 to 2,150 finished square feet, with base prices from $323,990 to $346,500.

The Ellicott model, with 2,150 square feet, is priced from $346,500. This home features a ground-level entrance with a large octagonal den, an optional powder room, a laundry room and access to the garage on the lower level. The first floor has a combined living room and dining room, including an octagonal room that can be used for either. Across the back of the house is a family room with multiple windows and a sliding glass door to the deck. Nearby are a powder room and a central kitchen with a breakfast area and pantry.

Upstairs, the master suite has a vaulted ceiling, a walk-in closet and a luxury bath with a soaking tub, a separate shower and a double-sink vanity. Two more bedrooms, one in an octagonal shape surrounded by windows, and another full bath complete this level.

Options include a loft, fireplaces, room extensions, upgraded baths and an upper-level laundry room.
