WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 (UPI) — Mayfair Sales Inc. of Buffalo, N.Y., Monday recalled 7-ounce packages of Witor's Golden Poker Milk Chocolate Pralines because they may contain peanuts not listed on the label, posing the threat of allergic reaction in some people.

The recalled pralines were distributed in parts of New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. They were packaged in fiber cartons with no apparent code.

No illnesses have been reported as a result of consumption of the product.

The problem was discovered through routine testing by New York Agriculture and Markets Food inspectors.

Consumers are advised to return the recalled pralines to place of purchase for a full refund. For more information call 800-248-2881.
