The Christopher Cos. is the builder for a project of 37 single-family homes in the first section at Brambleton, a planned community in Loudoun County, where residents can enjoy a golf course, a swimming pool and clubhouse, high-speed Internet service and plenty of open space.

Each home will include brick steps, four sides of brick foundation walls, vinyl siding, a sodded lawn, a large rear yard and a two-car garage. Brick fronts are optional.

Inside, both models feature four bedrooms; 3½ baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer; 9-foot ceilings on two levels; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; and 42-inch cabinets, a desk, and white or black appliances in the center-island kitchen. The master bath has a tub and separate shower, and the models have ceramic-tile flooring and walls in all baths, a high-tech wiring package, a rough-in for a lower-level bath, and gas hot water and dual-zone gas heat.

The homes have about 3,100 to 3,500 finished square feet, with base prices from $427,650 to $461,870.

The Kensington model, with 3,100 square feet, is priced from $427,650. This home features an angled front entrance into a circular two-story foyer with entrances to a reception area as well as the formal dining room and the parlor or formal living room. The library is at the front of the house. Across the back are the center-island kitchen and breakfast area and an octagonal great room with a fireplace and plenty of windows. Between the kitchen and great room are stairs set into angled walls of windows.

Upstairs, the master suite has a pentagonal bedroom; a breakfast bar; two walk-in closets; and a bath with a tub, a separate shower and two sinks. Three more bedrooms, each with a shared or private bath, and a laundry room complete this level.

Options include a finished lower level, a walk-out basement, bay windows, room extensions and other custom options.
