CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 8 (UPI) — The Federal Aviation Administration said an Air Midwest commuter jet with 19 aboard operating for U.S. Air Express crashed at Charlotte, N.C. around 9 a.m. The twin-engine turbo-jet Beechcraft 1900 slammed into a hangar on takeoff and police say there do not appear to be any survivors.
