Ryland Homes is building 170 town-home-style condominiums at Amber Spring in Stone Ridge, a new planned community in Aldie where residents can enjoy a swimming pool, a recreation center, a library, an outdoor event lawn and amphitheater, ball fields and walking trails.

Each home in this Loudoun County community will include a brick foundation, maintenance-free vinyl siding, professional landscaping, a deck and a one-car garage. Brick fronts are optional.

Inside, all four models feature two or three bedrooms; 2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer; a gas fireplace; vaulted and volume ceilings; 36-inch wood cabinets in the kitchen; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; ceramic tile tub and shower surrounds; an upper-level laundry room; a high-tech wiring package; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 1,184 to 1,924 finished square feet, with base prices from $239,990 to $288,990.

The Arlington model, with 1,924 square feet, is priced from $288,990. This home features a dramatic floor plan with 12-foot ceilings in the formal step-down living room, which has multiple windows. The formal dining room overlooks the living room.

Near the stairs are a powder room and guest closet. At the back of this model are the family room, which has a fireplace and windows overlooking the deck, and the kitchen and breakfast area, which include sliding glass doors to the deck and a pantry.

Upstairs, the master suite has vaulted ceilings, two walk-in closets and a bath with a corner tub, a separate shower and a double-sink vanity. Two more bedrooms, a laundry room and another full bath complete this level.

Options include whirlpool tubs, hardwood flooring, ceramic-tile flooring and media centers.
