Irish pubs, bars, and restaurants in the Washington area will roll out the green carpet next Monday on St. Patrick's Day, and most of them will sport musical entertainment.
At the District's big four, the lineup looks like this:
The Dubliner: At the Phoenix Park Hotel, 520 N. Capitol St. NW. Northern Irish singer John McGrath, the Messenger Boys from Dublin, the group Morris Minor and Shannon Tide. 10 a.m. Monday to 2 a.m. Tuesday. $10 cover. 202/737-3773.
Ireland's Four Provinces: 3412 Connecticut Ave. NW. Music throughout the day, including the group Atlantic Bridge. 10 a.m. Monday to 2 a.m. Tuesday. $10 cover. 202/244-0680.
Kelly's Irish Times: 14 F St. NW. Live music all day; Pete Papageorge noon to midnight. DJ and dancing downstairs. 11 a.m. Monday to 2 a.m. Tuesday. $10 cover. 202/543-5433.
Nanny O'Briens: 3319 Connecticut Ave. NW. Conor Malone, Brian Gaffney and the group Johnny Jump Up. 10 a.m. Monday to 2 a.m. Tuesday. Entertainment begins 11 a.m. Monday. $10 cover. 202/686-9189.
