Basheer & Edgemoore is building 172 single-family homes on quarter-acre to half-acre lots at Kingsport in Annapolis, where residents can enjoy a fishing dock, parks, a village green, walking trails and a swimming pool.

Each home in this Anne Arundel County community will include a brick front, a brick or stone stoop, James Hardie fiber-cement siding, a sodded lawn and a two-car garage. Three-car garages are optional.

Inside, all eight models feature four bedrooms, 3½ baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main and second level, crown and chair-rail moldings, a gas fireplace with a marble surround, 42-inch cabinets and Corian counters in the center-island kitchen, his-and-hers closets and a large shower in the master suite, ceramic-tile flooring in all baths and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have approximately 3,100 to 3,742 finished square feet, with base prices from the mid-$400,000s to the mid-$600,000s.

The Cliffehurst model, with 3,375 square feet, features a two-story foyer, a library, a formal living room and a formal dining room defined by columns, a center-island kitchen and open breakfast area, and a two-story family room with a fireplace and a wall of high arched windows. A second staircase and laundry room are near the garage.

Upstairs, the master suite has a tray ceiling; an optional sitting room; two walk-in closets; and a bath with a tub that has windows on two sides, a separate shower and two sinks. Three more bedrooms, each with a private or shared full bath, complete this level.

This model can be modified with a first-floor guest suite, a sunroom or a morning room.

Options include a finished lower level, rear sunrooms and room extensions, bay windows and bonus rooms.
