The Grand Casino in Biloxi, Miss., has America's best bathroom, according to Internet voters who participated in a contest called America's Best Restroom II.
The casino's women's room is described by Internet voters as "over the top" and "neo-Victorian." The restroom has a gilded chandelier, portraits of Victorian-era woman on each red stall door and a giant bird cage.
"Our guests have known for awhile about the beautifully decorated restroom we have," said Duncan McKenzie, general manager of the Grand Casino Biloxi. "It's a beautiful restroom, definitely the talk of the town and well worth the million dollars we spent on creating it."
The contest's runners-up were: CJ's 19th Hole Restaurant in Trumbaersville, Pa., the Madonna Manor Hotel in San Luis Obispo, Calif., Yavneh Day School in Cincinnati and the Summit Restaurant in Christiansburg, Va.
The runners-up featured luxuries such as a large waterfall, marble tabletops and 10-foot ceilings.
The contest was sponsored by Cincinnati-based Cintas Corporation, which is a leading producer of corporate and industrial uniforms.
