Eakin/Youngentob Associates is building 75 New York brownstone-inspired town homes at the Brownstones at Wheaton Metro in Montgomery County, where residents can enjoy a location within walking distance of Wheaton’s eclectic mix of shops and restaurants and its Metro station.

Each home will include a brick front, a rooftop terrace and a two-car garage.

Inside, all four models feature four finished levels; three bedrooms; 2 1/2 baths; ceramic tile flooring in the foyer and powder room; a gas fireplace; a kitchen with gas cook appliances and a built-in microwave; ceramic tile flooring and tub and shower surrounds in all baths; and a master bath with a tub, a double-vanity sink and separate shower.

The homes have 1,708 to 2,610 finished square feet, with base prices projected to range from $396,900 to $499,900.

The Amherst model, with 1,907 square feet, is priced from $396,900. This home features a lower-level entrance with a large study off the foyer, and garage access on this level. The main level features an open living room and dining room, a powder room, and a breakfast area off the kitchen. An alternate layout features an open floor plan that includes the living area, dining area and a center-island kitchen.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a bath with a tub, separate shower and dual-sink vanity. A second bedroom, another full bath and a laundry room complete this level.

The fourth level includes a third bedroom, an optional bath, an open loft to use as a family room and access to the roof terrace.

Options include hardwood flooring, granite counters, and upgraded appliances and cabinets.
