Centex Homes is building 34 Craftsman-style single-family homes on eighth-acre lots at the Hamlets at Leesburg, within walking distance of historic downtown Leesburg and Ida Lee Park.

Each home in this Loudoun County community will include Hardiplank siding, and a stone stoop, steps and foundation. In addition, the houses will have covered porches, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, both models feature three or four bedrooms; 2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room; 9-foot ceilings on all levels; crown and chair-rail moldings; a fireplace with a slate surround; 42-inch raised-panel oak cabinets and a walk-in pantry in the center-island kitchen; and a master bath with ceramic tile flooring, a tub and separate shower with a seat.

The homes have 2,777 to 3,269 finished square feet, with base prices from $405,990 to $434,990.

The Graydon model, with 2,777 square feet, is priced from $405,990. This home features a covered porch leading into a two-story foyer, a large library and a large family room with a fireplace and walls of windows. The adjacent open kitchen has a center-island cooktop and opens onto the dining room, which has French doors opening onto a second covered porch. Nearby are a pantry, a laundry room and access to the garage.

Upstairs, the master suite has a private covered porch, a sitting alcove with an optional fireplace, a vanity in the dressing area, a walk-in closet and a bath with a corner tub surrounded by windows, a large separate shower and two sinks. Two bedrooms, a loft and another full bath complete this level. The loft can be converted to a fourth bedroom if desired.

Options include finished lower levels with a wet bar and full bath, a main-level bedroom and kitchen upgrades.
