D.R. Horton is building 49 single-family homes on lots of a quarter-acre to a third-acre at Witheridge Estates in Montclair, where residents can enjoy cul-de-sac homesites that back to trees.

Each home in this Prince William County community will include low-maintenance 4-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage. Brick fronts are optional.

Inside, all four models feature four or five bedrooms, 2 baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main and lower levels, oak railings, custom lighting fixtures, recessed lighting and oak cabinets in the center-island kitchen, ceramic-tile bath and shower surrounds, a master bath with a tub and separate shower and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 2,142 to 3,008 finished square feet, with base prices from $374,990 to $414,900.

The Covington model, with 2,800 square feet, is priced from $404,990. This home features a two-story foyer leading into an open floor plan with the dining room on one side and the living room on the other. A decorative column helps define the living room space. The library occupies a private corner, while the rest of the back of the main level is an open family room, breakfast area and center-island kitchen. Nearby are a powder room and laundry room off the garage. Bay windows can be added to the living room, library and breakfast area.

Upstairs, the master suite has a tray ceiling; a walk-in closet; and a luxury bath with a soaking tub, a separate shower and a double-bowl vanity.
