Beazer Homes is building 45 luxury garage town homes at Skylark Ridge at Emerson in Laurel, Md., where residents can enjoy a swimming pool, easy access to woods and streams, a tot lot, play areas, tennis courts and walking paths.

Each home in this Howard County community will include a brick or vinyl front, professional landscaping, sodded lawn in the front, side and rear yards and a two-car garage.

Inside, each home features three finished levels above ground; three bedrooms; 2 baths; a sunken foyer with hardwood flooring; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; 42-inch oak cabinets in the kitchen; a master bath with ceramic tile flooring, a tub and separate shower; and an upstairs laundry room.

The homes have 1,800 to 2,700 finished square feet, depending on the options chosen, with base prices from the mid-$300,000s. Sales will start in mid-October.

The Chatham model features a front porch leading into the foyer, which is a few steps below the open living room and dining room. A powder room is placed near the stairs to the upper level.

Options to customize this level include a sunroom addition with a fireplace and a bay window extension on the breakfast room.

Upstairs, the master suite has an optional tray ceiling, a walk-in closet and a bath with a corner tub, a separate shower and a dual-sink vanity. If the sunroom option is chosen, a sitting room can be added to expand the master suite. Two more bedrooms, a laundry room and another full bath with a dual-sink vanity complete this level.

The lower level has a recreation room, a den and an optional extra bedroom and bath.
