Stanley Martin Homes is building 36 single-family homes at Glenkirk in Bristow, a planned community where residents can enjoy a community pool, a clubhouse, nature trails, bike trails and playgrounds.

Each home in this Prince William County community will be built on a site of less than a quarter acre and will include low-maintenance 5-inch vinyl siding, professional landscaping, a sodded lawn and a two-car garage. Three-car garages and brick and stone fronts are optional.

Inside, all five models feature four bedrooms; 2 baths; hardwood flooring in the two-story foyer, kitchen and family room; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch cabinets, a pantry in the center-island kitchen; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; ceramic tile flooring in all baths; a three-piece rough-in for a lower level bath; a high-tech wiring package; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 2,684 to 3,545 finished square feet, with base prices from the $400,000s.

The Newport model, with 3,545 square feet, features a formal dining room and a formal living room on either side of the two-story foyer, a corner library and a powder room. The step-down family room has an 11-foot ceiling.

Upstairs, the master suite has a separate sitting room a step below the bedroom, a tray ceiling, two walk-in closets and a bath with a large tub, a separate shower with a seat and two separate sinks. Three more bedrooms, a laundry room and another full bath complete this level.
