M/I Homes is building 41 single-family homes at Windsor Knolls in Ijamsville, where residents can enjoy a swimming pool, community center, tennis court and basketball court.

Each home in this Frederick County community will include a brick front, a brick stoop, a sodded lawn and a two-car garage.

Inside, all seven models feature four bedrooms; two or 3 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer; 9- and 10-foot ceilings on the main and lower levels; crown and chair-rail moldings; oak stairs; a gas fireplace; 42-inch raised-panel oak cabinets, recessed lighting, upgraded appliances and Corian counters in the center-island kitchen; a master bath with ceramic-tile flooring, a tub and a separate shower; a finished lower-level recreation room; high-tech wiring; and dual-zone heating and air conditioning.

The homes have about 2,800 to 4,100 finished square feet, with base prices from $559,990 to $639,990.

The Hawthorne II model, with 3,300 square feet, is priced from $589,990. This home features a two-story foyer with a central staircase with a curving first step and a formal living room and dining room, each with decorative columns, flanking the foyer.

The main level also includes a library, an open family room with two walls of windows, a bay-windowed breakfast room off the kitchen, a butler’s pantry, a powder room and a laundry room.
