How did you get started in real estate? I started in real estate back in Hong Kong because it allowed me to meet new people, see different houses and help people find real estate for themselves or for investment purposes. I liked the flexible hours, which allowed me to travel. Working in Hong Kong and living in Singapore and Hong Kong and traveling extensively in different countries have helped me gain an understanding of different cultures and tastes and to respect individuality.

How long with the current company? Since 2001.

Licenses: Real estate sales in Virginia and Florida

Associations: Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, Virginia Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors

Awards: Weichert Million Dollar Club

Greatest accomplishment in the past 12 months: I achieved the Weichert Executive Club level in the first quarter of 2004 by selling more than $5 million in just three months.

What is your area of specialty? Residential and second homes in Great Falls, McLean, Vienna, Reston, Sterling and Leesburg

Highest-priced home sold: About $2.5 million.

Most memorable house: It was in Hong Kong in an area called the Peak, which is in an exclusive part of Hong Kong Island. This house had a panoramic view of Hong Kong Island and was built on the rocks with a circular road around the mountain and a narrow access road.

Worst experience: After spending a considerable amount of funds for marketing and putting in many hours of work, I brought in an offer that exactly matched the seller’s criteria. To my surprise, he changed his mind and did not want to sell his property after all, even though he had been very happy with all the effort.

Family: Married; three sons.

Education: Bachelor of arts in languages (Farsi, English and French), University of Farad Palaver in Tehran. Certified personal trainer.

Outside interests: Skiing, boating, cooking and socializing

Last movie seen: “Shrek 2”

What kind of car do you drive? A Mercedes 320MI sport utility vehicle

What is your personal dream house? I would love to own lots of acreage and waterfront property. I have to have enough acreage to have a runway for my husband and son, who are pilots, to land and take off; a stable for my other son to keep his horses; and space for a lot of fruit trees. The house must have at least three guest suites complete with their own elevators for their own privacy, and a spacious kitchen. with panoramic views of the ocean.
