Georgetown’s historic homes predate the homes in the rest of Washington, including some remaining examples of homes that have stood since Colonial days. The crowded residential streets of this Northwest neighborhood have few spaces available for new homes, and community activists have succeeded in preserving the antique buildings in the village of Georgetown.

Some new homes, known as Phillips Row, however, were built in 2000 along Olive, 27th and 28th streets. Blending the rich architectural heritage of Georgetown with subtle modern touches, these brick homes have quietly been absorbed into Georgetown’s East Village.

Set within walking distance of Georgetown’s amenities, Foggy Bottom, the West End and Dupont Circle, the residences of Phillips Row provide a sophisticated city lifestyle along with a quiet neighborhood.

Two of the homes built within the Phillips Row development are slightly different in style from the adjacent homes, and each includes a driveway with private parking. They, therefore, do not belong to the homeowner’s association of Phillips Row.
