Lucy Moorhead, with sons Bill (left) and Jim, celebrated a dual publishing feat at her Georgetown home Monday night. The

first, “In the Town and in the Country,” is the memoir of a longtime congressional wife, equestrian and Georgetown and Hunt Country hostess; the second, a novel called “Dolly Appleton,” was written years ago but couldn’t see print as long as certain powers-that-be were still alive. Le tout Washington does love a roman a clef, so it’s bound to be under all the right Christmas trees this holiday season.
